Futek is now offering its LCA700 high-capacity load cell with a USB output option.
The LCA700 is now part of the Futek USB Sensor Solution series in the high-capacity range.
Using metal foil strain gauge technology, the LCA700 17-4PH stainless steel load cell, measuring from 226.8 to 453.6 tonnes, has a raised spherical surface to lower the possibility of off-centre loading, and comes equipped with a handle for easy carrying.
High-capacity load cells can be used for monitoring bridge static, dynamic and earthquake-induced loads, setting up rolling loads at steel mills, monitoring foundation loads at power plants, and truck scale weighing.
They are used in many areas, such as bridge/infrastructure, power generation, transportation, aerospace, construction, steel, and the marine industries.
Canister load cells are most commonly used in single- and multi-weighing applications where large capacity is required.
The LCA series is also available with TEDS/IEEE1451.4.
