Fluent has further expanded its Sheffield-based UK office with the appointment of five new recruits.

Fluent has further expanded its Sheffield-based UK office with the appointment of five new recruits Greg Zhu has taken up the post of Senior CFD Engineer in the Aerospace and Automotive Team

Zhu has a BSc and MSc mechanical engineering, and a PhD in aeronautical engineering.

He has 5 years work and research experience gained at universities including Oxford and Imperial College, London where he worked on a project supported by Rolls Royce and BAE Systems examining drag prediction for wings/aeroplanes.

David Mann is the second Senior CFD Engineer to join the Aerospace and Automotive Team.

He completed an MEng engineering science at Oxford University, before becoming a Senior Technology Engineer at Rolls Royce Aerospace, Bristol working on the design of military jet engine fans.

He then spent almost three years as Technical Manager at Advanced Design Technology, based in London working on Inverse design software for turbomachinery (Inverse CFD) before joining Fluent.

Andrew Lowe has joined the company as a Senior CFD Engineer in the Chemical Process Team.

He gained a BEng (Hons) at UMIST in Manchester before completing a PhD in fluid mechanics at Cambridge University.

His commercial experience in the industry spans 15 years including strategic and project management within a multinational company's technical section/engineering consultancy.

Craig Skinner is a graduate CFD Engineer working in the Chemical Process Team having recently completed an MEng Aeronautical Engineering at Glasgow University, where he achieved first class honours.

During his studies he worked on industrial placements with Ford and Rolls Royce, and at TU Delft in Holland where he undertook a five-month research project.

Leigh Bramall joins Fluent's Marketing Team as PR Executive.

Bramall has a BSc (Hons) in media and communications research from Leicester University.

He previously worked for a London-based PR agency where he was responsible for the account of a major property company.

Commenting on the new appointments, Chris King, Managing Director of Fluent Europe says: "We have always strived to attract the very best people to Fluent, and I think that these new appointments prove we are succeeding in this.
