Highlights of the event include the presentation of 20 leading edge applied automotive CFD papers covering traditional CFD application areas such as aerodynamics, climate control, powertrain and under-hood thermal management, but also extending to new and novel multiphase and unconventional automotive CFD applications like condensation and paintshops.

In addition to the wide array of papers to be presented at the event, a full complement of leading-edge third-party CAE software and hardware suppliers to the European automotive CFD community will be showcasing their products at the event in a CAE Pavillion.

These include: Advantage CFD, AMD, Beta CAE Systems, CEI/Genias, Chimera Tech, EDS-Unigraphics, Engineous, Fuel Tech/Engineering Systems Technology, Fujitsu Siemens, HP, IBM, ICEM-CFD, Intelligent Light, LMS, Optimal Solution, Optimum Power, Pallas, Pointwise and VR-Solutions/Vircinity.

This conference provides a unique opportunity to hear how CFD is used by automotive companies in Europe, North America and Asia in the same time and in the same place.

Also, as automotive is a major industry sector for Fluent, this event represents for its experts an exceptional occasion to meet and exchange with this European automotive community of CFD users.

Conference proceedings will be available at the event or shortly thereafter on demand.

A detailed conference programme can be downloaded from the Fluent website.
