Ford Malaysia (FoM) was having serious problems meeting a strict paint curing specification with its existing electro-dip (ED) oven.
The new Fujihokka material is integrally coated with a unique 20 to 30um alumite film providing exceptional performance in any application involving heating, cooling or drying.
The material is ideal to enhance thermal performance on equipment, or processes where optimum energy-efficiency is essential.
Fujihokka, which is superior to paint coating alternatives, is energy efficient leading to improved performance at lower costs.
Typical benefits offered by Fujihokka are: 1- efficient energy-saving with industrial heating and infra-red appliances and ovens, - improved cooling efficiency in refrigeration, heat exchangers and heat sinks, - temperature control and energy-efficiency in process control, - reduced temperatures and time savings in drying applications such as paints - fast curing times for adhesives and resins - effective heat shields and climatic controls in automotive and aerospace industries - controlled conditions for medical, horticulture and animal husbandry disciplines Fujikura Europe can supply Fujihokka in virtually any form, and a version that allows the material to be applied as an over treatment for steel substrates is also available.
Coil production is also offered.
This remarkable material can be used up to 2000C and has excellent abrasion resistance - better than hardened steel.
