G and B Projects will be displaying its range of robust and adaptable nylon pillars on stand C21 at Southern Manufacturing 2006 The products comes in round, hexagonal and micro specifications, with body sizes from 4mm x M2.5 to 105mm x M12

G and B can also make custom sizes and specifications.

Pillar characteristics such as body style, body diameter, thread type and thread length can be specified to requirements.

The pillars use virgin nylon 66 and have an insert design that, to date, has never disengaged from the nylon body in any practical application.

The solid body style and brass insert design make them resistant to shock, vibration in use, movement in transit and accidental falls.

They are stronger than plastic pieces and have electrical insulation properties not attainable with metal.

The nylon body reduces the chance of electrical flashover and eliminates internal current tracking.

Also on show at Southern Manufacturing from G and B will be nylon spacers, snap-in nylon pillars and spacers, brass pillars and spacers (clearance and threaded), steel pillars, self-tapping pillars, micro pillars, headed insulating bushes, metric screws, nuts and washers (nylon and brass), screwlock assemblies (D-type connector), and brass earthing bars.
