The business includes plants at Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi; Ottawa, Illinois; Washington, West Virginia; Tampico, Mexico; Grangemouth, Scotland; and Villers San Sepulcre, France.
GE's Cycolac and Geloy resins business will be headquartered in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
Crew previously served as Vice President and General Manager of GE Advanced Materials' LNP specialty compounds brand portfolio.
He joined GE in 1977 as a Marketing and Sales Representative, and has since served in a number of marketing, sales and commercial and business leadership positions in the company's resins, sheet and film businesses.
These include Vice President and General Manager of Commercial Operations in the Americas, and Vice President and General Manager of Operations in Europe.
He is a graduate of Villanova University, Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor's degree in marketing.
