Gas detector adds CO2 option
The V!SA is a low-cost, lightweight, accurate and robust gas detector providing peace of mind in safety critical applications, now with the additional advantage of infra-red CO2 detection.
GMI has released a carbon dioxide sensor for its V!SA personal gas detector The new sensor detects CO2 using infra-red techniques in the range 0 to 5% volume, resolving to 0.05%, and provides Hi Hi alarm at 2.5%, STEL alarm at 1.5% and LTEL (TWA) alarm at 0.5% for use in confined space applications

It's the scales that count
A new range of industrial counting scales suits the needs of a variety of industries where parts counting is essential for inventory control, packaging checks and component handling.
Accuracy of detection is ensured as the infra-red detection principle adopted is not effected by any cross-sensitivity or pollution from other gases.
A further benefit of the infra-red sensor is the lifespan: the GMI warranty covers the cell for 4 years, with an expected life of over 5 years.
Typical applications include confined space monitoring and personal protection in the nuclear, brewing and marine industries among others.
