Galil Motion Control has recently updated and expanded its website to provide interactive information and tools for users interested in motion control.
'Our website is stocked with detailed product data and educational information designed to help our customers succeed in motion control projects,' said Lisa Wade, vice president of sales and marketing.
A learning centre provides free access to Galil's library of educational material including online tutorials, support tools, training classes, technical articles and Tech Talk, a forum where Galil application engineers post their latest design tips.
Engineers can further increase motion control knowledge by viewing Galil's library of more than 20 online tutorials covering subjects such as servo tuning, motion programming, I/O control, motors and drives.
Online support tools also include Motorsizer, for easy sizing of stepper and servo systems, and Motioncode, which is a step-by-step guide for developing common motion applications.
Also, included in the learning centre is Galil's online, four-hour motion control course, which comes free with a product purchase.
The Support and Downloads section provides access to a collection of Galil literature including product manuals, application notes, example controller programs, the 2009 product catalogue and Galil's quarterly Servotrends newsletter.
In this section users will find the latest firmware and software downloads, plus Galil's collection of Smartmoves customer stories and videos.
Smartmoves demonstrates the application of Galil motion controllers in a wide range of high-tech, industrial, medical and manufacturing industries.
The Our Products section contains complete technical specifications and pricing for all current Galil products.
Galil has recently updated its 2009 catalogue with technical details, specifications and pricing on all motion controllers, I/O controllers and drives.
