Companies considering participating at the Medica and Achema international trade shows can access Government grants of up to GBP 2300 towards their costs.

Laboratory supply, analytical instrument and other companies considering participating at the Medica and Achema international trade shows can access Government grants of up to GBP 2300 towards their costs.

The BLWA Laboratory Group of GAMBICA is sponsoring the participation of eligible UK companies in these important shows under the TradePartnersUK SESA scheme.

Medica, in Dusseldorf, in November this year, is the leading annual medical device technology show, attracting a truly international audience of more than 125,000.

Thirty UK exhibitors of diagnostics, instrumentation, lab supplies and other products and services joined the BLWA group in Hall 1 last year.

Achema, the triennial show, to be held next in Frankfurt, in May 2003, is themed around chemical engineering, environmental protection and biotechnology.

At the last Achema show, there were more than 700 exhibitors of laboratory equipment and more than 450 exhibiting instrumentation, control and automation.

Visitor numbers are expected to be well over 200,000 and the BLWA Laboratory Group of GAMBICA expects to assist over sixty companies to claim Government grants and take part.
