Norman LA Smith, Managing Director of Instron, has been appointed President of GAMBICA for the year 2003.
Norman LA Smith, Managing Director of Instron, has been appointed President of GAMBICA for the year 2003.
Smith takes over from James Plenderleith.
Instron is a manufacturer of materials testing systems.
Smith has been with the Instron Corporation for 20 years, joining in 1982 as Marketing Director with responsibility for Europe, the Indian subcontinent and Africa.
He took over as Managing Director in 1996 and was then given responsibility for the Asia Pacific region in 1999.
