The third edition of the "Gambica guide to ENA Engineering Recommendation G5/4-1" is available following the recent update by the Energy Networks Association from G5/4 to G5/4-1.

Gambica's Variable Speed Drive Technical Committee has published the third edition of the "Gambica guide to ENA Engineering Recommendation G5/4-1", following the recent update by the Energy Networks Association from G5/4 to G5/4-1.

The update to G5/4-1 focuses on the effects of higher frequency harmonics, conditional connections and the format of reports.

The Gambica guide seeks to explain the causes and effects of harmonics, together with the ways that a consumer should interface with the drives manufacturer and the supply utility, including typical calculations and reports.

The guidelines are available on the Gambica website.
