Proven remote access software from Bow Networks is integrated with the security and management features of GarrettCom's hardened remote network and security devices.
GarrettCom Europe has expanded its portfolio of solutions offering protection against threats to cyber security.
With the introduction of Crossbow Secure Access Manager, users can benefit from user-friendly access to plant floor, field and remote devices via PC-based client or web interface, while unauthorised attempts to access the network are securely locked out.
The Crossbow Secure Access Manager is based on proven remote access software solutions from Bow Networks, and integrated with the security and management features of GarrettCom's hardened remote network and security devices.
This combination provides an electronic security perimeter for the network, and provides auditable secure remote access to devices on that network.
In 2007 GarrettCom introduced the Magnum Secure Networking Framework (MSNF) - an initiative to promote best practice for industrial network security, constructed around consisting of functional building blocks and secure networking protocols.
MSNF provides network-centric solutions for cyber security protection, while providing a framework for the overall control and information systems infrastructure.
Now the company has extended its offering with Crossbow, which integrates seamlessly with GarrettCom DX and DynaStar routers and serial device servers to add a comprehensive electronic security perimeter.
GarrettCom Europe also offers professional services to assist customers in implementing effective cyber security solutions.
Targeted industries include power utilities, transportation, water treatment and pipelines, energy, other critical industries as well as general manufacturing.
