Gas Data has launched a rugged and versatile multi-gas analyser which gives fast, accurate and intrinsically safe (to EEx ib IIB T2) measurements of up to seven gases.

Suitable for a wide range of process environments where detection or monitoring of gases, hydrocarbons or vapours is required, the portable LMSxi can provide simultaneous measurement of carbon dioxide, oxygen, methane, and up to four additional user-specified gases, such as CO, Cl, HCN, H2S, N2, and %LEL (flammability).

Designed with a built-in timer for unattended logging, and also benefiting from a fully programmable pump operation, this modular analyser has a serial interface, enabling site, bore hole and historic data to be uploaded.

In addition, the LMSxi can also record data for gas flow, as well as both bore hole and atmospheric pressure - yet with its expandable and internal gas channel system, it requires no external modules.

Part of Gas Data's highly reputable gas analyser range, which for close on a decade has proved itself for innovation, reliability and accuracy, the LMSxi is based on its highly successful predecessor, the LMS, the first ever analyser to offer additional internal gas channels, the first to offer built-in low level bore hole flow and pressure measurement, and the first intrinsically safe monitor with built-in flow and pressure measurement.
