A new fast and efficient handheld analyser for monitoring extraction systems on landfill and biogas sites has been launched by Gas Data.

A new fast and efficient handheld analyser for monitoring extraction systems on landfill and biogas sites has been launched by Gas Data.

This latest innovation from the Coventry-based company, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is the GFM400 FlareCheck, a tough, user-friendly instrument that minimises downtime and maximises energy production.

Enabling users to quickly and efficiently measure levels of CH4, O2, pipeline pressure and gas velocity, this newly designed Gas Data instrument benefits from a graphical surge indicator, which also allows easy diagnosis of blocked or waterlogged pipes.

Simple to connect to any standard pipework fittings, and suitable for maintenance and optimisation of all landfill gas extraction operations, the GFM400 FlareCheck uses a clear and concise display screen, which gives immediate at-a-glance results.

Display readouts can be locked in for easy comparison and review of measured values.

In addition, there is a plug-in vane anemometer to display gas velocity.
