New contract wins boost turnover 100%

Specialist automation solutions company GB Innomech is celebrating a period of record growth in 2005, with turnover increasing by 100% in the last 12 months.

Specialist automation solutions company GB Innomech is celebrating a period of record growth in 2005, with turnover increasing by 100% in the last 12 months.

This spectacular success, prompted by major new contract wins in the pharmaceutical, audiovisual and automotive sectors, builds on several years of rapid growth, fuelled by the expansion of Innomech's facilities.

It cements Innomech's position on the international stage, with world-class manufacturing companies included among the new clients.

Recent clients include Bioprogress, which contracted Innomech to create a high-specification pharmaceutical tablet wrapper system and Screen Technology, where Innomech has introduced a new production process for the tiles that make up its Itrans product, a large, flexible format, high image-quality display product.

Innomech is looking forward to even bigger things in 2006, with planning permission granted for further expansion of the company's Witchford, Cambridgeshire site.

Keith Reeds, Innomech's Sales and Marketing Director, said: "Our strategy has been to seek growth in the high-technology automation field and this is paying dividends".
