Goudsmit Magnetic Systems has extended its range of magnetic lifting systems with a new type of permanent electro lifting magnet.

Goudsmit Magnetic Systems has extended its range of magnetic lifting systems with a new type of permanent electro lifting magnet.

This compact lifting magnet ensures a lower load on the crane or the balancer and therefore achieves an extra-large lifting capacity of 1500kg.

Lifting is done using permanent magnetism which means that these magnets save energy and are safe to use.

The power is only switched on during loading and unloading and the permanent part is then switched off.

A possible power failure will then have no influence on the magnetic strength.

Permanent electro lifting magnets are used for the positioning and handling of steel products in pick-and-place units, automation projects and processing machines.

Lifting magnets such as these are used in the lifting of both flat and round steel products.

The electro permanent lifting magnets series is suitable for the lifting of loads of 80, 250 and 1500kg and may be used in either the horizontal or vertical position.

The magnets are easily attached using a crane hook or with four bolts.

It is also possible to mount a number of magnets in line so that the total lifting capacity increases.
