Available in both PCI and PCMCIA versions, the E10T provides the user the benefit of applying the device to both product development and final production devices.
For example, the PCMCIA version will support off-site laptop based debugging operations.
Of the device's five-pin interface, three are I/O pins, with the remaining pins offering NMI and RESET functions.
The on-chip tool provides the user with: a hardware breakpoint on address and data; a four level branch trace; single stepping at C and assembly level; and the ability to download applications and program on-chip Flash.
The HDI source level debugger gives the user high level debugging in C with C level, and mixed or assembly level display options.
It also provides the ability to run user code in real-time and to single step, with 'step-over', 'step into' and 'step out of' functions.
Additionally, HDI offers: a register display; a three level branch trace; C level watch-points; and a memory window.
The H8/3664F is a low power flash microcontroller that offers 16-bit performance at a pricing level comparable to that of 8-bit devices.
The device is based on the H8/300H CPU core featuring a range of peripherals more powerful than those found on a typical 8-bit microcontroller.
These include on-chip communications capability, powerful integrated 16-bit timer and on-chip watchdog timer with built in oscillator.
