PortaSens is a versatile tool for performing regular leak checks in gas storage areas, around process equipment and associated piping or in confined places prior to entry

Gemlog Controls is pleased to announce the release of PortaSens II, a portable gas detection system.

PortaSens is a versatile tool for performing regular leak checks in gas storage areas, around process equipment and associated piping or in confined places prior to entry.

It can also be left running in the background whilst working in potentially hazardous areas, with 3 available alarm set points (caution, warning and alarm) as well as low flow and low battery alarms, you'll be well covered.

All alarm points activate a warning display and buzzer.

PortaSens flexibility goes even further by offering a data logging function, up to 8 days at 1 minute storage intervals, all retrievable via a PC using the software provided.

PortaSens does not confine you to one gas type either, up to 30 different gas types are currently available and the list is growing all the time.

All you do to change gas type is change the gas sensor, it's as simple as that.

Using the latest sensor technology each sensor carries its own memory containing its gas type, calibration constants and software level information.

This means you can change from one gas to any of the other 29 types in less than one minute.
