Ethernet Network Interface joins Grayhill lineup
Capable of working with up to 32 channels of I/O in any combination of analogue and digital, OpenDAC for Ethernet is a remote slave device that responds to Modbus/TCP commands received over a network
Gemlog Controls is pleased to announce the arrival of the OpenDAC for Ethernet, the newest addition to the family of Grayhill OpenLine Industrial Control Equipment.
The Ethernet interface is a remote slave device that responds to Modbus/TCP commands that it receives over the network.
Capable of working with up to 32 channels of I/O in any combination of analogue and digital the OpenDAC will self configure on power up.
The unit is able to detect if it is connected to 10Base-T or to a 100Base-TX network.
This eliminates switch settings and simplifies the set up.
The digital and analogue modules are continuously scanned and updated and can be monitored by status LEDs.
The watchdog timer that is incorporated into the OpenDAC monitors the communication from the Modbus/TCP master.
All configuration parameters are displayed and modified using a web browser, this being password protected to prevent unauthorised access.
