The GE Fanuc OCS250 operator control station is an extension of the existing OCS family.
This model features an adjustable-backlit LCD graphical display for improved trending and batch management, supporting graphics of up to 240 x 128 pixels.
Together with navigational keys and a numeric keypad, the OI incorporates 8 screen soft-keys, and 10 re-legendable function keys with user-controlled LEDs.
GE Fanuc's Windows-based Cscape offers reduced programming time by combining IEC 61131-3 compliant ladder logic programming, graphical OI development and communication configuration all in the same package.
The OCS250 incorporates 1MB of screen memory, 128 K of memory for ladder logic/documentation and 32 K of memory for registers.
This memory capacity, together with two internal high performance processors, one for logic and one for the OI screen updates, ensures rapid response with a 0.7ms/K Boolean logic scan time.
The OCS250 will accommodate up to four SmartStack I/O expansion modules enabling control of up to 288 points of I/O.
Over 35 different types of SmartStack I/O modules are available, covering digital, analog, communications and motion.
The OCS250 can be used as a standalone operator control station or as part of a distributed control application.
