New features include: QuickPanel target support for Cimplicity View supports the creation of HMIs using standard Machine Edition tools and editors; navigator reorganisation for logic components - all logic-related items are contained within a single logic folder under the target; SINT, USINT and UDINT data types are now supported; improved Toolchest functionality enables stricter control over users' access; a new user-specified Machine Edition project file directory; Logic Developer PLC variables; connection to GE Fanuc's Technical Advisor knowledge base via the Internet; floating toolbars enable greater flexibility when configuring a theme in QuickPanel applications; and improved Toolchest save procedures during project development.

View is a machine level HMI providing tools to visualise and control a process.

It supports communication protocols for all the major PLCs, including OPC client and server drivers, and publishes data and graphical panels over the web to a standard web browser.

The new Validate Recipe function allows the validation of recipe files before they are downloaded.

New Graphical Panel reports enable the concurrent viewing of all panels.

Logic Developer is a common development environment for IEC 61131-based programming, monitoring, and troubleshooting PLC and PC control applications.

Logic Developer includes: Logic Developer - PLC for programming all GE Fanuc PLCs, including the latest models and hardware options; Logic Developer State, an alternative programming language for Series 90-30 and Series 90-70 PLCs using State Logic instead of traditional ladder logic; and Logic Developer - PC for programming SoftPLC applications for Windows CE, Windows NT/2000, Embedded NT, and Hard Real-Time NT platforms.

Logic Developer PC now supports structured text blocks.

Motion Developer is used to develop motion-control programs for GE Fanuc's S2K series motion controllers.
