GE Fanuc announces PACSystems RX3i modules

GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms has announced two modules for its PACSystems RX3i that reduce downtime, provide high resolution for improved process control and sampling of data to improve throughput.
The isolated thermocouple analogue input modules and isolated Resistive Temperature Device (RTD) module deliver channel-to-channel isolation for performance and hot swap capability to reduce downtime.
These new modules provide increased performance and advanced diagnostics taking advantage of the RX3i PCI bus.
In applications where the RX3i is controlling process-based manufacturing, for example, water/wastewater, chemical manufacturing, and oil and gas, the thermocouple modules provide advanced temperature input capabilities for applications where it is critical to the control.
In addition, GE Fanuc also offers its Proficy Process Solutions set for process-industry companies.
Proficy Process Systems is a scalable, fully integrated system for process automation and control.
