Geomagic has been selected as a winner of the Red Herring 100 North America.

The award recognises the top 100 privately held companies in North America that are leading the technology business in innovation.

Geomagic will be honoured at the Red Herring Spring 2006 Conference in Monterey, California.

"With venture capital flowing again, we're seeing a lot of innovative new companies taking on the established players with disruptive technologies and innovative business plans", said Joel Dreyfuss, Editor-in-Chief of Red Herring.

"The Red Herring 100 North America companies, including Geomagic, are pushing and breaking the boundaries of the technology business and we are excited to report on their success stories".

The award is an important part of Red Herring's tradition of recognising new and innovative technology firms and their entrepreneurial founders.

More than 1000 nominees are rigidly evaluated on criteria such as financial performance, technology innovation, quality of management, execution of strategy, and integration into their ecosystem.

"It is an honour for Geomagic to be recognised with this prestigious group of companies", says Ping Fu, President and CEO of Geomagic.

"It is clearly a reflection of a passion for innovation and excellence embodied by our employees".
