Valves protect high purity media

A Gems Sensors product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 12, 2008

Two-way high-flow miniature isolation valves target OEMs in a wide variety of applications, including remediation equipment, clinical chemistry equipment, analytical instrumentation and printing.

The PreDyne BS Series of two-way high-flow miniature isolation valves from Gems Sensors and Controls is designed to be virtually impervious to chemical attack and to protect high purity media.

Available with bodies made from polypropylene or 303, 304 or 316 stainless steel and diaphragms of EPR, nitrile (NSF/FDA) or perfluoroelastomer, the BS Series is ideally suited to high purity applications.

The diaphragm isolates the fluid from other valve components, so when the fluid must not be allowed to come in contact with any metallic materials, this highly versatile, modular valve delivers the protection needed for accurate and reliable flow control.

Its durable construction guarantees reliable performance for more than 50 million cycles.

With valve flow coefficients up to 0.300, numerous port configurations, voltage options, and coil construction, BS Series valves can be built to the exact requirements of the application.

They are ideally suited for original equipment manufacturers in a wide variety of applications, including remediation equipment, clinical chemistry equipment, analytical instrumentation and printing.
