The innovative new PI inertia sensor from switching, sensing and control solutions specialist Gentech International features unique non-contact technology and is specifically designed to detect movement/vibration over a wide range of sensitivities for applications including security, machinery monitoring and man down alarms.

Incorporating four DIP switches to facilitate programming for movement, sensitivity and vibration, the Gentech PI inertia sensor can be laterally, vertically and horizontally adjusted to give outputs in relation to rate of movement and length of stroke.

Housed in a compact, robust casing, with a connector to accommodate various cable lengths, the PI sensor is EMC and RF immune and its non-contact operation ensures long life, reliability and repeatability.
