Switching sensing and control solutions specialist Gentech International has introduced a broad stock range of magnets to enable design engineers to achieve a "perfect match" with Gentech's comprehensive range of magnetic reed switches.

"Specifying switch and magnet operate and release parameters in isolation can often lead to an initial mismatch," says Gentech sales director Norman Forsythe.

"By launching our new range of magnets we aim to help engineers find a compatible match right from the outset to speed up the product development to manufacturing stream.

The Gentech stock magnet range embraces a wide variety of types, shapes and sizes, catering for as wide a spectrum of applications as possible and including sintered ferrite, SmCo and NdFeB, bonded NdFeB and Alnico types.
