Level sensors make the right connections

Gentech International has extended its LCS Series integral connector liquid level sensor family with the launch of the Gentech LCS-03, featuring an integral Packard style connector.

Gentech International has extended its LCS Series integral connector liquid level sensor family with the launch of the Gentech LCS-03, featuring an integral Packard style connector.

Gentech integral connector level sensors are especially suitable for windscreen washer bottles, requiring far less space and therefore capable of being fitted in restricted areas, such as under wheel arches.

Integral design and rapid push-fit connection also save installation time, while acetal copolymer housings, polypropylene floats and EPDM sealing grommets make the sensors suitable for use in a variety of fluids, including ethylene and glycol.

Providing proven reed switch reliability, the LCS-03 has a maximum switch rating of 24V DC, 1A, 15W, an initial contact resistance of 0.25ohm and a maximum operating temperature of +60C.

The Gentech LCS Series also includes sensors with integral AMP and Yasake connectors.
