Gentech International has developed a stainless-steel version of its continuous output ESS, specifically for use in food industry applications.

The new Gentech ESS features a stainless-steel stem and single float travelling its length and is suitable for hygiene critical applications requiring more precise level sensing than that provided by multipoint sensors.

Providing a continuous/analogue output, the sensor combines the proven reliability of magnetic reed switching with resistors networked to provide a variable output proportional to the float position.

The sensor features two-wire resistance output or four-wire for low level alarm option and can be fitted internally via M16 connection or externally via an SAE flange or mounting bush.

Gentech ESS extended liquid level sensors offer four resistance output options, have a maximum voltage of 12-48V DC and an operating temperature range of -30 to +130C.
