Sensors help protect HVAC equipment

A Gentech International product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jul 2, 2003

Gentech has a range of liquid level and flow sensors ideal for protecting domestic boilers, chillers, condensate chambers, circulating water systems and similar HVAC systems and equipment.

A range of liquid level and flow sensors ideal for protecting domestic boilers, chillers, condensate chambers, circulating water systems and similar HVAC systems and equipment has been introduced by Gentech International.

Gentech FS Series interlocked flow sensors, in Noryl, brass or copper construction, provide fire-up protection for domestic boilers by sensing water presence/flow prior to ignition, eliminating the false triggering associated with pressure sensing.

And Gentech liquid level sensors, with operating temperatures up to 100C, are ideal for low-level element protection and high level shut off in hot water heaters.

Options include tank side entry sensors in polyphenylene or stainless steel, top and bottom tank entry sensors in stainless steel or brass and high pressure resistant models.

Liquid level sensors are also available for condensate overflow protection, monitoring collecting tray water levels and incorporating a pump out/alarm function.
