The OS 10 optical sensor provides enhanced reliability, efficiency and long life in a variety of liquids and is capable of withstanding extremes in temperature, pressure, vibration and shock.

Stainless-steel industrial-grade liquid-level sensors have been added to the growing range of optical sensors available from switching sensing and control solutions specialist Gentech International With no moving parts and featuring infra-red technology, the Gentech OS 10 optical sensor provides enhanced reliability, efficiency and long life in a variety of liquids and is capable of withstanding extremes in temperature, pressure, vibration and shock

Sealed to IP67 and with optional built-in LED power/alarm status indication, the Gentech OS 10 can be mounted at any angle and top, bottom or side fitted.

Its compact overall size - only 55.2 x 27mm - makes it ideal for small pressurised vessels in HVAC, refrigeration and hydraulic equipment and it is also suitable for heavy duty automotive, petrochemical, machine tool, gear, pump and processing applications.

The Gentech OS 10 can be used for high, low and intermediate level detection and can be supplied with 0.375in gas, 0.5in gas or 0.5in NPT threads.

Termination options are multilead cable or 2m cable with AMP Superseal.

Output mode is normally open or normally closed and the sensor is available with 100mA NPN, PNP or NPN open collector DC outputs and 200mA triac AC output.
