Gentech has signed a partnership agreement with Coto Technology, billed as the world's leading manufacturer of reed switches.

As part of the agreement, Gentech now has access to the full range of Coto reed switches, and the company will be using them in its own sensor range as well as actively distributing the products to all its current markets.

Coto Technology, a division of Kearney National, is the leading global supplier of high-quality reed switches and relays.

Coto has invested massively in its switch factory in Heerlen, Netherlands on automated equipment for blade forming, blade welding, electrical test and vision systems to build one of the biggest and best facilities in the world.

The partnership agreement is an important step for Gentech as it will allow the company to work alongside a world-leading supplier, to promote a reed switch programme with advanced technology, extended range (including SMD and the smallest high quality reed switch), improved power handling and a level of product quality that Gentech reckons is second to none.
