Extension adds more modelling flexibility
GrafiCalc 3.0 is a behaviour modelling extension to SolidWorks that allows users to explore multiple design options and "backsolve" exact geometry to satisfy stated design goals.
Until now, Autodesk Inventor users faced three hard choices for verifying tolerance and fit between parts and assemblies: do nothing about it and hope for the best; submit finished design for expert analysis and go through costly redesign; or make physical models to check tolerances and go through costly redesign.
Using GrafiCalc 3.0 seamless extension, Autodesk Inventor users can automatically extract geometry to define flexible tolerance models and perform: min-max stackup; worst case analysis; sensitivity analysis of individual contributors; tolerance budgeting; and fit and clearance analysis.
Additionally, GrafiCalc incorporates groundbreaking technology that enables Autodesk Inventor users to "backsolve" geometry to meet optimal position and fit goals, automatically.
