The GrafiCalc 3.0 next-generation analysis software plugin for Autodesk Inventor is available now from Geomate for $995 GrafiCalc 3.0 delivers hard facts regarding tolerance, fit and manufacturability to Autodesk Inventor users in early design stages - while conflicts are easier to detect and less expensive to fix

Until now, Autodesk Inventor users faced three hard choices for verifying tolerance and fit between parts and assemblies: do nothing about it and hope for the best; submit finished design for expert analysis and go through costly redesign; or make physical models to check tolerances and go through costly redesign.

Using GrafiCalc 3.0 seamless extension, Autodesk Inventor users can automatically extract geometry to define flexible tolerance models and perform: min-max stackup; worst case analysis; sensitivity analysis of individual contributors; tolerance budgeting; and fit and clearance analysis.

Additionally, GrafiCalc incorporates groundbreaking technology that enables Autodesk Inventor users to "backsolve" geometry to meet optimal position and fit goals, automatically.
