The ToleranceCalc automated tolerance analysis wizard has been certified by Autodesk to join the suite of its Inventor certified applications.

The ToleranceCalc automated tolerance analysis wizard has been certified by Autodesk to join the suite of its Inventor certified applications.

The Autodesk Inventor Certified Programme certifies that ToleranceCalc wizard for Inventor has met AutoDesk's standards for robustness, quality and the highest level of interoperability with the AutoDesk Inventor 7 mechanical design system.

By meeting AutoDesk's Inventor Certified Application Programme requirements, ToleranceCalc wizard will deliver to Inventor 7 users an in-process ability to analyse and allocate optimal tolerances to parts and assemblies, at any stage of the design process.

ToleranceCalc is a "training free" wizard that installs in minutes and can be used by designers as well as engineers using Inventor to receive answers to Tolerance related questions in minutes instead of hours, without having any specialised knowledge of dimensional engineering.

"ToleranceCalc will allow Inventor users to perform what-if tolerance studies in real time to optimise nominal model values to achieve ideal performance objectives while ensuring cost effective manufacturability.

By allowing Inventor users to have an upfront look at tolerance related issues earlier in the design cycle - while conflicts are easier to detect and less expensive to fix - ToleranceCalc can dramatically impact final profitability with minimal increase in capital expenditure", said Shyamal Roy, CEO of Geomate Company.

ToleranceCalc is sold worldwide by Autodesk authorised Inventor resellers priced at US $395.
