GrafiCalc Expert 2007 software enables users to perform "what if" analysis of critical engineering parameters.
Geomate has released GrafiCalc Expert 2007 software that enables product development and manufacturing quality engineers to boost design productivity, reduce design and development costs, leverage design expertise, improve quality, and accelerate time to market.
GrafiCalc Expert 2007 is the newest version of the company's engineering decision-support platform.
It combines the disciplines of sketching, calculations, behavioral modelling, motion simulation and tolerance allocation and analysis in a single application.
GrafiCalc Expert 2007 features function modelling wizards that help users to quickly create digital prototypes of complex product development challenges for evaluation and confirmation of critical design assumptions before committing to expensive modelling and manufacturing resources.
It enables users to perform "what if" analysis of critical engineering parameters; perform "what if" analysis of mechanism concepts at system level; perform "what-if" analysis of manufacturing options; perform "what-if" analysis of tolerance allocation options; automate top-down design to satisfy stated product behaviour; automate transient data collection for external analysis; create a calculation knowledge base for re-use and sharing; and mediate in design and manufacturing tolerance conflicts.
