The latest Panametrics MiniCap 2 relative humidity sensor combines small size and high accuracy at exceptionally low cost with long-term stability.

The latest Panametrics MiniCap 2 relative humidity sensor combines small size and high accuracy at exceptionally low cost with long-term stability to provide further ongoing operational savings The dielectric constant of the thin-film polymer capacitive type sensor changes linearly as a function of atmospheric relative humidity

This general-purpose RH sensor is said to offer OEMs high performance at a fraction of the cost of similar devices.

Its compact T0-18 configuration opens up the widest range of equipment applications.

Relative humidity is measured in the range of 0 to 100%, with a linearity and hysteresis of +/-1% RH, and a typical response time of less than 60s for 90% of total range.

Unaffected by water condensate and immune to most reagent vapours, the sensor can handle temperatures to 180C.

The MiniCap 2 is ideally suited to such applications as HVAC/energy management, control systems, humidistats and RH measurement instrumentation.
