Scanning scanning company seeks new distributors

GKS' distribution programme is structured so that its reps will have protected territories and a long-term partnership opportunity.

GKS Inspection Services is seeking independent manufacturer's representatives with a well established customer base to represent and promote GKS' metrology and reverse engineering services in various territories and industry sectors including automotive, aerospace, and defence.

The company, a division of Laser Design, is targeting manufacturer's representatives, who currently sell complimentary products and services for manufacturing, quality control and engineering applications across the United States.

GKS' programme is structured so that its reps will have protected territories and a long-term partnership opportunity.

GKS has US offices in Detroit, Minneapolis, and Seattle with future expansion into key markets planned.

The company already provides laser scanning and dimensional inspection services to customers nationwide but is hoping that its representative partners will help diversify and grow its base of business.

"We want GKS to have a stronger presence from coast to coast across all key manufacturing industries".

"Customers can easily ship their parts to one of our labs and our trained metrologists can also go on-site anywhere in the country using portable measuring and scanning devices", commented Armando Alonso, Vice President of GKS.

GKS is based out of the Detroit area in Plymouth, Michigan, where its A2LA for mechanical testing and calibration-accredited metrology lab is located.

As GKS opens regional offices around the country and in key international markets, its technical talent continues to grow and diversify.

The company has international offices in India, China, Taiwan, Korea and the Netherlands.

GKS is a division of Laser Design.

Laser Design's scanners are known worldwide for their industry-leading accuracy and automated scanning capabilities.

Laser Design's scanning probes are also integrated with Faro portable arm CMMs and are available as retrofits for traditional CMMs.

GKS uses Laser Design equipment along with many other measuring and scanning technologies.

Independent manufacturer's sales reps often seek products and services complementary to the lines they already represent.

The GKS Manufacturer's Sales Rep programme connects these reps with the opportunity to promote GKS' extensive array of services to manufacturing customers they know and have an ongoing relationship with.

GKS reps may also be eligible to represent Laser Design's 3D laser scanning systems.
