Gill Sensors will launch its latest capacitive liquid level sensor at the Professional Motorsport World Expo in Cologne from 8th to 10th November 2006.

Available for either gasoline/petroleum or oil media, the R-Series sensor uses the same capacitive measurement technology as found in the Gill custom motorsport range of sensors, successfully campaigned in F1, IRL, Champ and LMP for many years.

The sensor is equipped as standard with an SAE five-bolt mounting pattern with a low height profile and with fully integrated electronics, this sensor has been specifically developed to cater for WRC, sports car, touring car and similar applications.

The launch of the R-Series adds further strength to Gill's range of non contact, solid state position, level and gas-flow sensors, which have all been developed especially for use in harsh environments.

In addition to the Professional Motorsport World Expo, Gill Sensors will be exhibiting at Autosport and MTEC in early 2007, where their entire range of sensors will be displayed and demonstrated.
