Expanding on six years of expertise in providing a solution for content management and technical product discovery, GlobalSpec, in co-operation with MatrixOne, created SpecStation for MatrixOne to fill a critical gap in the enterprise value chain for managing product content that is highly searchable, rapidly accessible, expertly classified and specification-rich.
SpecStation for MatrixOne is designed to deliver three fundamental benefits to the enterprise: engineering productivity, speed-to-market for new designs, and measurable costs savings.

SpecStation for MatrixOne provides integrated access to GlobalSpec's database, the largest repository of searchable mechanical, electrical and optical component data in the world, and a classification structure for purchased catalogued components that is mapped according to standards such as UNSPSC and NAICS.
SpecStation for MatrixOne enables part reuse and supplier rationalisation, resulting in an accelerated design process, accelerated time-to-market, decreases design costs and enhanced collaborative engineering.
