Go LED worklights give 50,000 hour illumination

A Go Distribution product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 9, 2009

Go Distribution has introduced to Australia rugged portable LED worklights designed to provide 10 years or more of optimum clarity and reliability, or 50,000 hours of outstanding illumination.

The cordless Hemipro High Power Worklights incorporate high-power LEDs in work lights originally designed for the professional automotive repair market, making them suitable for use in resources including industrial, construction, energy, engineering, water, waste water and safety tasks.

Using two or three high-power LEDS, the Hemipro two- and three-LED work lights provide powerful beams that, respectively, equal or exceed the light area intensity of a 60 or 75W beam, according to the company.

The lights have a hemispherical lens design that refracts the LEDs into a clean, bright and wide beam.

The lens design captures and transfers the LED light into a 70deg beam, while eliminating hot spots, dull areas or halo rings.

Designed to provide high performance for 10 years or more of normal use, Hemipro incorporates a strong NiMH 2500mA/hour battery with a life expectancy of three years under normal use.

The two-LED Hemipro can be used up to five hours between charges.

The three-LED version can be used for three hours between charges.

Both feature non-slip grip and shockproof housing.

Further enhancing service life, the Hemipro's battery, lens shield and 360deg swivel hook can be replaced.

Hemipro complements a range of HVAC products available from Go Distribution, including Super Seal sealants that help remove the need for expensive fault-chasing and repairs to commercial, industrial and automotive air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
