Jobsite.co.uk has once again been acknowledged as an Internet success story, this time for its outstanding business performance in the Portsmouth area.
Jobsite.co.uk has once again been acknowledged as an Internet success story, this time for its outstanding business performance in the Portsmouth area.
For the second year running Jobsite was named as the runner-up in the category of business of the year at The News Business Excellence Awards 2004.
The event was held at the Guildhall, Portsmouth on Thursday 15th January 2004 with over 400 guests from Hampshire's industry and commerce community gathering to see the nine awards handed out.
Local favourite Fred Dineage acted as master of ceremonies, supported by guest speaker and snooker legend Steve Davis.
The awards were introduced in 2003 to acknowledge individuals and businesses that have demonstrated success in The News circulation area.
The business of the year category is the highest accolade at the awards and its purpose is to recognise outstanding performance, characterised by excellence in product and service with the achievement of growing or strong market share in the entrant's chosen niche, reflecting growing profitability and enhanced performance.
