Solenoid minimises residual magnetism sticking

A Geeplus product story

Designed for applications where a limited product life is expected, the new OE snap together RD-U617 solenoid is constructed without the use of staking or spun joints for easy disposal.

Designed for applications where a limited product life is expected, the new OE snap together RD-U617 solenoid from Geeplus Europe is constructed without the use of staking or spun joints for easy disposal after use.

Featuring what is described as a very shallow polepiece angle, which develops force out to 6-7mm from a package 17mm in length, the RD-U617 is claimed to be very cost effective and, after use, the solenoid is simply disassembled in to component parts for recycling.

The RD-U617 can also be supplied with a construction design that minimises sticking due to residual magnetism when the power is removed, said Geeplus.
