A Geeplus product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jul 7, 2005

A new bistable rotary solenoid has a reaction time of less than 6ms in either direction.

With a life expectancy of 100 million cycles depending on load and environmental conditions, the new BRS2644/32 bistable rotary solenoid from Geeplus has a reaction time of less than 6ms in either direction.

The BRS2644/32 can hold in either position without power supplied and provides torque in excess of 80mNm over an angle of +/-15 degrees despite its diminutive 26mm diameter.

Applications for the BRS2644/32 include cash sorting equipment and optical shutters.
