Assembly sealant combines adhesion and
reliability
Novel sealant uses hot melt technology to achieve instant green strength of pressure sensitive adhesive with the high performance of a crosslinked silicone sealant.
Now available from industrial consumables specialist RW Greeff is the latest sealant technology from Dow Corning that uses hot melt technology to achieve instant green strength of pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) with the high performance of a crosslinked silicone sealant, resulting in improved productivity, increased production speed and reduced costs Dow Corning HM2510 assembly sealant was developed to have a lower viscosity than HM2500 assembly sealant allowing it to flow into deeper sections and achieve longer working time

ISL, the distributor for Dow Corning's Molykote range of speciality lubricants, has launched a new range of high performance chain lubricants.
Dow Corning HM2510 assembly sealant combines the production benefits of instant adhesion with the reliability of silicone sealants.
Instant green strength means that parts can be moved immediately from one processing step to the next.
Because HM2510 is a silicone sealant and a PSA, it offers aggressive, long-lasting adhesion to PVC, aluminium, painted and treated wood, high performance paints, plastics and various other substrates.
Dow Corning HM2510 assembly sealant has an open time of 15 minutes and pot life up to 24 hours.
HM2510 assembly sealant is a nonhazardous, low odour formulation which is worker friendly, adheres to most common substrates and can be used with standard hot melt dispensing equipment.
The sealant is optimised for use with automated dispensing equipment, creating a uniform seal for part-to-part consistency, minimising waste and cleanup, and reducing labour costs substantially.
