Molykote G4500 is a general purpose, light consistency white synthetic grease that can be used in rolling element and plain bearings.

RW Greeff has introduced Dow Corning's new Molykote G4500 synthetic grease that provides higher load carrying capacity, greater wear resistance and longer service life compared with conventional petroleum-based lubricants.

Molykote G4500 is a general purpose, light consistency white synthetic grease that can be used in rolling element and plain bearings, pivot pins, cams, guides, ways, drive screws, gear, splines and other machine elements.

It is compatible with many plastics and elastomers and meets US FDA regulation 21 CFR 178.3570 and NSF H1 classifications for incidental food contact.

The grease is available in two versions offering different consistencies.

The lower consistency formulation (G-4501) is suitable for use in automatic dispensing systems.

Molykote G4500 multi-purpose grease has a wide operating temperature range of 40 to +150C and offers excellent low temperature torque.
