Air filters prevent lubricant failure

A RW Greeff product story

RW Greeff's new Air Sentry breathers replace the standard breather cap or vent tube on a tank or reservoir.

RW Greeff has released Air Sentry contamination control breathers for enclosed fluid systems.

In any enclosed reservoir containing fluids or semi-solids, air is breathed in and out as the fluid level changes or as thermal expansion and contraction occurs.

Contamination of fluids from the incoming air is the primary cause of wear and lubricant failure in industrial equipment.

RW Greeff's new Air Sentry breathers replace the standard breather cap or vent tube on a tank or reservoir.

They are easy to install using one of several adapters designed for many different applications.

When the fluid in a system is lowered or pressure changes occur, air is drawn through the openings in the breather cap.

Air first passes through a fine 2 micron solid particulate filter followed by a diffuser to ensure maximum effectiveness in the subsequent silica gel chamber that removes water vapour.

After being dried, the air passes through a second 2 micron solid particulate filter before entering the reservoir clean and dry.

The Air Sentry range encompasses several varieties of breather units from mini and standard disposable units through to steel bodied breathers with rechargeable internals, all supplied with a range of suitable fittings for each application.
