Sealing specialist Garlock (Great Britain) has moved to a larger, more centralised UK location, which positions it better to support its expanding customer base
Sealing technology business, Garlock (Great Britain) has completed its move to new premises in Elland, West Yorkshire.
The move, from its original Newbury facility to the larger more centralised UK location, positions Garlock ideally to support its expanding customer base.
Manufacturing a wide range of sealing solutions from non-asbestos gasket sheet and custom moulded products to expansion joints and high integrity metallic seals, Garlock has been providing innovative sealing solutions to industry for over a century.
Garlock's well established presence in the Process market has been complimented by continued penetration into Aerospace, Specialist Automotive, Semiconductor and Nuclear sectors enjoying year on year growth of over 25%.
To date 10 new employees have been recruited from the area and this will be extended to 20 over the coming year.
Jason Sedgwick, Managing Director, Garlock (Great Britain), commented, "Our new facility will not only provide us with increased manufacturing capacity, but will also provide Garlock's customers with increased support.
A training school in the building will provide customers with essential information to help them understand the limits and capabilities of our increasingly complex technology.
"To meet the increased demand in our product we are investing in our production and service capabilities to ensure we continually exceed our customers' expectations.".
