Pure exfoliated graphite sheet gasket material providing high levels of sealability in extreme conditions is now available from Garlock (Great Britain).

Pure exfoliated graphite sheet gasket material providing high levels of sealability in extreme conditions is now available from Garlock (Great Britain).

Graph-Lock 3125-TC is reinforced with 316 stainless steel tang inserts which provide increased mechanical properties of the gasket.

Graph-Lock 3125 TC offers a high level of resistance to aggressive chemicals and its ability to withstand high pressures and extreme temperatures, up to 650C in steam, makes it ideal for a wide range of applications.

Laminated from compressed layers of purified natural graphite flake, and mechanically bonded with the stainless steel tangs, ensures the material retains dimensional stability in high temperatures.

In addition the material seals easily under moderate bolt loads offering torque retention through service and sealing tightly even during pressure fluctuations.

Supplied in sheet or finished gasket form, Graph-Lock 3125 TC is available in thicknesses from 1.5 to 3mm and is suitable for fitting with eyelets.

All material is clearly branded "Garlock" providing a solution to traceability certification requirements.
