Packing sets keep valves environmentally clean
A range of high performance control packings, designed to achieve long-term low emission performance from high cycling, fire safe control valves, is now available from Garlock (Great Britain).
Compressor spares from stock or made to order
Garlock (Great Britain) now provides a wider range of spares, for most current and obsolete reciprocating compressors, from stock or within 24 hours.
Providing lifetime monitoring of seals, management of historic data and bespoke training, the Garlock seal care team offers leak detection and repair, flange integrity and training and computerised asset management services.
The leak detection and repair service uses surveying equipment capable of reading 0 to 100,000 parts per million to measure leakage from flanges and valve glands.
High-emission valves are repaired in-situ with Garlock's EVSP 9000 sealing system.
The repair process avoids further damage to valves.
The asset management service involves recording the locations of valves, their repair history and planned maintenance schedules.
Using web server and RFID technology, the service provides critical data essential for predictive maintenance and documentation control.
Complementing the programme, Garlock helps its customers to keep control in-house by providing its flange integrity and seal training service.
The service provides training to enable maintenance engineers to become certified to inspect flange integrity.
Nigel Richardson, Service Manager, Garlock Sealing Technologies, said, "The Garlock Seal Care programme aims to increase efficiency and process integrity for our customers who are continually having to address environmentally challenging and costly spurious leaks".
"If required we can provide the core products as individual items as, following training and certification, customers will develop skills internally".
