The AC65 compact AC motor is designed to resist damage caused by heat buildup and "dirty voltage" spikes from lower speed operation while under torque load.

The smallest AC motor offered by Groschopp, the AC65 measures just 2.88in square at the endbell and 5.22in in length and is ideal for commercial and industrial HVAC fans, commercial oven rotisseries or other applications where speed fluctuations and heat are factors.

Standard features include rugged ball-bearing construction and highest-efficiency stator and rotor tolerances.

Impregnated windings and a tough yet attractive durable powder coat painted all-aluminium frame and machined aluminium endbells add to the unit's overall rugged design.

Inside the frame, innovative cooling channels eliminate lint, dust and other debris buildup in the fins that can cause overheating and motor damage.

Class F insulation allows the AC65 to withstand temperatures higher than Class B ratings in intermittent applications.

Customers can choose foot or face mount TEFC (totally enclosed, fan-cooled) and TENV (totally enclosed, nonvented) designs in single- and three-phase configurations.
