Groschopp has again been selected as one of Whirlpool Corp's top US suppliers.
Groschopp has again been selected as one of Whirlpool Corp's top US suppliers.
From a field of approximately 700 US suppliers, Whirlpool recognised 21 companies for outstanding performance.
Groschopp was further honoured among five companies who served "with distinction".
The award marks the second consecutive year Groschopp was honoured by Whirlpool.
"We are extremely proud to be recognised as a top supplier to Whirlpool Corporation", said Gerald VanRoekel, President of Groschopp "As the world's leading home appliance manufacturer, Whirlpool has its choice of the finest suppliers".
"To be distinguished among companies of that calibre is a credit to the dedication of our employees and demonstrates Groschopp's commitment to excellence".
Candidates were judged primarily on three criteria: quality of their goods, productivity and material management.
"The suppliers we partner with are vital in helping us to maintain our status as the world's leading home appliance manufacturer", said Franklin Starn, Whirlpool's Vice President for North American Procurement.
"Those that we are honouring this year consistently meet our requirements in quality, productivity, engineering, design, availability and, increasingly, innovation".
